Congrats Grad!

Isnt this the cutest image?? This is a digital download from Squigglefly, called For You, I think I am becoming obsessed with digital images. The graduation hat is a Clip Art file I found on google images. I made the turtle extra big so I could make a 5x5 card. I finally used my stickles, they have been abandoned for too long. Poor guys! hehe.

Love using digital because it doesnt take up any room! No more storing stamps, Just throw them on my backup drive and thats it!

Dont forget you can also use clipart, just resize and print out.

Missing You!

I love this Sugar Nellie Image called Carefree, she is so carefree and so not worried about life. Just wish I could hang out like this and not think of doing chores, especially the laundry.

I used my pencils to color her in. I like to use pencils for more detailed images. I did the ribbon technique here too. It may become my signature. The patterned paper is from paper studio, i have a bunch of miscellaneous paper, it just so happened to match!

This is my gorgeous daughter holding this card!

Have a great day.

This card was made for the challenge over at SNR. I used the Spring image by Victoria Case. I combined my copics and pencils to color her in. We had to use the color combination of Rust Orange, Olive Green, Brown and Ivory.

Victoria Case Challenge Card

Victoria Case is having a challenge on her blog. I had so much fun making this card. Victoria case has beautiful digital images, They are so much fun to color in. In this challenge she is giving away a free image. Willy is so cute!!!

This is the sketch we had to follow..

Here is my Card:

I used Bazill Papers for this card. The polka dot paper is from a basics pack from paper studio. Punched out matching papers for the flowers. And willy is accompanied by my layered stapled ribbon. My prisma pencils were used, I didnt even need gamsol to blend. I just used various shades of the same color to blend it in perfectly.

I also printed out one for my daughter, she loves to color just like Mommy. Look how cute! I think she did pretty well for a 4 year old :)

Have a great Day!!!

Hang Tough!

I made this one for my son, he is 6 and in Kindergarten. He took this picture for his school photos (I have to mail my MIL one) He looks so sad or grown up, I cant decide.

I used SCAL with a free font from Fontspace called ABCcar. I used my Archaic Paper and all its accessories for the other fun stuff. This was an easy page to make thanks to Basic Grey, I have found my new favorite paper.

Thanks for looking :)

Fabric Covered Bullentin Boards

LETS GET ORGANIZED! WOOHOOO!

This week my goal is to get organized. So sick of the kids papers all over the house. So I went to Hobby Lobby with coupons in hand and bought some bulletin boards and fabric. All you have to do is staple the back of the board and make it neat. Of course you need to use a heavy duty stapler.

This one is mine. For my Craft room

This is my daughters she already put alot of her pictures on.

And this one is my sons. Need to get the wrinkles yes I know :(

I have one more to make but cant show you as hubby may see it :)

Go try this its so easy and so cheap!! If you buy these predone it could cost you a fortune. With my coupon the board was just 5.00 and the fabric was just 4.00. Staple gun and staples we already owned. (These are a GREAT investment) I am sure you can use Glue if you are patient enough to wait for it to dry.

Cool Ribbon Technique

I am not sure what this ribbon technique is called but its one of my favorites to do. I used a simple glittery rubon and dollar bin ribbon from Michaels to make this easy peasy card.

Ribbon Storage

Finally I can breathe!! I had my ribbon the cropper hopper with dowels, it was such a mess.

So I went to Hobby Lobby found these fantastic fabric covered boxes, I bought a ton. I put all my ribbons in the big one, with room to spare!

I am getting rid of all my unmatched baskets.

Then added my Thickers.

MY ROOM - UPDATED AGAIN!!

i GOT A NEW TABLE!! Cleaned up the room. I just need some wall stuff, some rails and shelves and a fun colored table cloth. I was going to paint but I am happy with the color. I need curtains and a cool rug and some wall art. I am taking down the doors and will add curtains. The doors are too big for this room. I opted for a round table instead of along rectangle one, takes less space.

Wedding Dress SCAL file

If you have a cricut and you own SCAL, I will be occassionally be sharing some of the files I make.

This one is a 5x5 wedding dress card, perfect for journalling, make it bigger or smaller. It is in .Scut format.

Trying on Wedding Dresses Scrapbook Layout

I am in the process of scrapbooking my life. This layout is the day I went to the bridal store and tried on dresses, this happened to be the dress i chose (this was 10 years ago - bling was in lol) I still need to decide on what kind of journalling I will do. I may do a die cut on chipboard, havent decided yet. I am brave to show my picture on this blog!! This was me 10 years ago, before kids, marriage and life got in the way.

I used SCAL on the cricut for most of it, markers for title and sub title, a stampin up die cut (yes I copied it SHH dont tell!).

What kind of journalling do you think I should use? I want it on the right side of that empty space.

Watercoloring

I bought some Stampin Up Stamps from my good friend Tami Blake
This one is from the current mini. Not sure what the name is, I need to dig it out and see.

I used my Maury Markers and huffed and puffed on the stamps untill I got the right coloring I wanted, I printed off that sentiment with my computer.

Its one of my favorite techniques.

Glad to be back stamping! Kids take up so much time. :)

Its Starting to Get Organzied!!

This is my scraproom closet, its still a work in Progress. I need to add lights in it one day.

I bought these Great boxes at hobby lobby.. They will store my photos.

The rest of the room is still a mess so I wont show you any more! LOL
