Hang in There

I made this card for splitcoast stampers card sketch challenge 215. Can you guess what that crimped chipboard is from?? I will give you a hint it has to do with coffee. :)

The stamp set the monkey came from is Autumn Leaves called Mindys Zoo. I used a variety of K&CO paper from various packs i had. And of course I used my Copics. I didnt want the ribbon to take over the card so I used fiber instead. That sentiment is from my computer, I used Microsoft Word and printed it on cardstock.

I am going to do alot more challenges out there, know of good ones? Let me know.

Enjoy your day.

High Hopes Card

This is my card for submission to the High Hopes Design Team. Its my first time doing this, so I am a bit nervous. I followed a sketch found here. I hope the pictures are good! :)

I used an old Angel Company stamp set called Dress Up, My little girl was colored in with copics. Paper is from The Angel Company and K&CO. The card is 5x5, my favorite size to work with.

I added 3 sentiments, the say bejoyful, behappy, beunique. These are all the things we can be strive to be from a little girl who plays dress up. Children are great examples of pure happiness. They represent us and how we can all strive to be unique, joyful and happy.

UPDATE: I didnt make it to the DT, but i was fun trying :)

Have a great day!

Hey Sweetie

Oh I love my sugar nellies, I wish i had an unlimited budget so I can buy them all!

I made this card with my copics! I am really loving them these days. I used E09 and e37 on her hair, her jeans I used b32 and B2, the shirt was colored in with a bic marker, The dog was also colored in with the same hair color, the chair she is sitting - i used C3 and C5.

That patterned paper is from K&CO. Its double sided and so yummy!

The stamp set is called sitting with bear, and I used Martha Stewart ribbon, It is such pretty ribbon i love 7/8th sized, but this ribbon is hard to cut! Just to warn you it shreds easily. When I find a new pink that thick I will replace it.

I cut out the shapes with my cricut, plantin cartridge, flowers are by Petaloo. They are really nice! Better than punching them out. You must try these.

I am so happy summer is coming, Pink and Greens! Yippiee

have a great day

I was in a mood to use this stamp set, I just bought it recently.

The Prince and the Princess!

Grandma this one is for you...

This is a current pic, I took it yesterday. Alex is 4 feet tall now and weighs 45 lbs! Can you believe he is wearing a size 1.5 Boys shoe!! Just the other day he was wearing a size 7! He will be 6 in April!! They grow too fast! :(

Julie is catching up to him, she is at his shoulder!! Alex is getting so handsome I am going to have my hands full when he is in High School! Watch out Boys - Julie isnt dating untill she is 45!!! LOL!! My little girl is growing up too fast!!

My Little Artist

I havent had much time to craft lately, I been so busy with the kids, house and life. My daughter didnt want to go to preschool today, softie I am I let her stay home. So she wanted to do some coloring. I stamped a few images and let her use my inexpensive pencils.

She did a GREAT job! She is only 4 and already loves to color :)

I hope Grandma logs into my blog to see this!

Have an Ice Day!

In honor of the cold Tennessee weather we are having here lately, I took out my new TAC stamps and went to town!

I used Perky Penguins, Good Timber and Mountain Scenery. I masked the entire thing and printed out my sentiment with word. The cutie penguins were colored in with my prisma pencils

This looks like where we used to live in the catskills in NY, (except there werent any penguins!) I miss it dearly! Thank you Jackie F for convincing me to buy Good Timber, I just love this stamp set!

Have an Ice Day!

I hope you will participate!

Here is my take on the sketch.

I used a Rubbernecker Stamp called Belle, She was colored in with my Prisma Pencils and the blender, I used my spellbinders (brown zebra print) and my cuttlebug embossing folder (on the black part). I still need to add a sentiment but I will wait till an occasion arrives.

thank you. I hope you will try this challenge too!
